Carson Cats is well respected and has been recognized for their rescue work in the community by multiple organizations throughout Los Angeles. Most recently, Carson Cats was presented with the Bea Arthur Award by In Defense of Animals. This award is in honor of the legendary actress and animal advocate Beatrice Arthur who represented what it means to be loving guardians to our animal friends and recognized that the word "owner" does not properly define our relationship with animals.
The Jackson Galaxy Project - Shelter of the Month
Carson Cats Rescue was selected by Jackson Galaxy of Animal Planet's "My Cat from Hell" to be the Shelter of the Month. The Bea Arthur Award
In Defense of Animals (IDA) announced the award to Carson Cats, in honor of the legendary actress and animal advocate, Beatrice Arthur, who represented what it means to be loving guardians to our animal friends and recognized that the word "owner" does not properly define our relationship with animals. The Kitten Rescue Angel Award
Carson Cats was awarded Kitten Rescue’s Angel Award
for their work with the Los Angeles County Shelters.
Stray Cat Alliance -
Honoree for Helping Community Cats in the Shelter System
Stray Cat Alliance recognized Carson Cats with an award for its rescue work with ferals in the Los Angeles County Shelter Systems.
Carson Cats was also recognized in 2011 by the Fur and Feather Animal Sanctuary by obtaining
the “Lester Award” for saving cats/kittens at the worst shelters in Los Angeles.
